- Cut three colors of 8 1/2" x 11" paper into 1" strips.
- Glue three strips side by side on a piece of cardstock.
- Cut the sheet apart into 1" x 3" strips creating rectangles of three different colored squares.
- Shift one rectangle down so that the top edge of the uppermost square on the right is even with the top of the middle square on the left. Glue these rectangles onto a piece of cardstock.
- Keep adding rectangles. Place each rectangle one block down until you have a strip 6 or 7 inches long.
- Turn the strip so that the squares are standing on one corner.
- Cut and glue two narrow pieces of paper along each edge, lining them up with the points of the second square.
- Trim away the tiny triangles outside of the border.
